Payments & Terms

Thank you for choosing Garth’s Plastering.

Upon accepting a quote from Garth’s Plastering the following conditions apply, if you do not wish to be bound by these terms and conditions please state in writing prior to job start.

  • All invoices are due no later than one week after submission (unless agreed otherwise in writing )
  • Invoices outstanding after 2 weeks from invoice date will be charged a $20 admin fee.
  • invoices outstanding after one month from date of invoice will be charged a $40 collection fee as well as interest at 10%
  •  jobs over $500 will be stage paymented.
  • Preferred method off payments are to be made via direct bank transfer, details are on the invoice given (allowing 2 days for clearance on stage payments)
  • Larger jobs will require a 20% deposit, if for any reason I cannot do the job then a full refund will be given.
  • Plastering extras not quoted for can be carried out at a given price for an hourly rate of $50 per hour plus materials.

Crack Disclaimer:
Garth’s plastering will do the uttermost to repair cracks to the best they can possibly be done, always using the correct materials and repair tape, in nearly all cases cracks are repaired never to come back again, however this cannot be 100% guaranteed, no matter how much preparation work is carried out or how much tape is used etc.

Any discrepancies with work please contact Garth’s Plastering within 48hrs off completion.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

If a one ton wall is to move, then the crack will re-appear, in this case the wall/ceiling movement issue needs to be addressed, for example, underpinning, damp issues etc, if the crack re-appears after a repair has been carried out then this can be addressed using an inexpensive flexible filler which would be down to the decorator.
